Terms of Service

By creating an account, using the Citation Rocket web application, or installing the Citation Rocket Chrome Extension, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Citation Rocket Ltd ("Citation Rocket", "we", "us").

Citation Rocket provides AI readiness auditing, citation monitoring, and AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) tooling, including:

• The web application at app.citationrocket.com
• The Citation Rocket Chrome Extension
• The AEO Pack — a downloadable ZIP of optimisation files
• Citation Snapshot — live AI citation monitoring via third-party APIs

The Citation Rocket Chrome Extension scans the content of web pages you explicitly choose to audit. By installing and using the extension, you acknowledge that:

• The extension requires broad host permissions to function on any page you choose to audit.
• Page content (HTML, meta tags, structured data, link structure) is sent to our servers over HTTPS to generate your audit score.
• You must only use the extension to audit websites you own or have permission to audit.
• The extension is provided "as is" and may not be available during periods of maintenance.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@citationrocket.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

Citation Rocket offers Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. All prices are in USD.

Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — there are no partial refunds for unused time.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of new pricing.

You may not use Citation Rocket to:

• Audit websites you do not own or have permission to audit
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or replicate the service
• Transmit malware, harmful code, or content that violates applicable law
• Use the service in any way that violates the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies
• Resell access to the service without written permission

All content, code, branding, and materials produced by Citation Rocket are our intellectual property. Your audit results and AEO Pack files generated from your domain data belong to you.

The Citation Rocket name, logo, and "AEO Pack" terminology are trademarks of Citation Rocket Ltd.

Citation Rocket uses the Perplexity Sonar API to power Citation Snapshot. Availability of citation data depends on third-party API uptime. We are not liable for interruptions to third-party services.

Billing is powered by Dodo Payments. Your use of payment features is also subject to Dodo Payments' Terms of Service.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that audit results will achieve any particular outcome in AI search engines.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Citation Rocket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or non-payment, with or without notice. On termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately. You may export your data at any time before termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
